I'm planninng on taking a girl on a date... haven't decided who yet, but she'll more than likely have roommates. That's only important to know because during our time out together I think I want to set up a delivery of a combination of flowers, chocolate, and a balloon (simply reading "Thank you") to her apartment. Maybe, a card explaining that I just wanted to thank her for allowing me the wonderful privilege of showing her a good time. Do you think she'll enjoy it? I want to her feel special because of my actions away from the date as well as what happens during the date. What do you think?
How does this sound (mostly for the ladies)?
like it she will love it...thats beautiful....your showing her that your thinking about her and what a great time you had with her...thats a real good idea...good luck although i dont think you'll need it you seem to have everything under control
Reply:y u need 2 date ? Report It
Reply:I think you're way ahead of yourself. You don't even know who you'll ask on a date? First find the girl you want to date, go on a date, then determine if you actually enjoyed it and want to go out with her again. If you do, I think flowers, chocolate, and a balloon are way over the top. It could potentially scare her off because she might think you're moving way too fast. A phone call the next day is a much more appropriate gesture.
Reply:Thats a really good idea.. the only thing i could say is that maybe you should wait for the next day to get delivered for her that surprise. WHy? because you never know how date will be and maybe things didnt work out really good and instead os saying thank you you should write sorry (just kidding). Getting serious, if you wait for the next day, besides thank you, you can say what you liked the most from the time you spent together :)
Reply:Good Luck to you
Reply:That sounds like an excellent idea, girls love to be surprised.
Reply:That sounds so sweet, but I'd leave out the balloon.too birthday or juvenile.
Reply:That is a fantastic idea, sure to score some points.
Reply:how sweet . go for it.
Reply:that all sounds perfect,I'm sure she is going to love it all, hope it all works out great, thanks, this gave me lots of ideas
Reply:Wow! that would be amazing, I am sure she will love and appreciate your kind gesture.
Reply:That's a good idea. That's exactly what I'm gonna do.
Thanks man.
Reply:awww...wish my husband had done that...sounds so sweet
Reply:I would maybe hold off until after a few dates to do that. It sounds awesome, but if you do it after the first date, it may come off as weird or stalkerish....
Reply:dude, you're acting like a doormat. she might not even like you. im not advising you to be a jerk, but you need to play it cool a little bit and get to know her more before you're being overly nice to her. if you ask this question to girls, of course they gonna say it's a great thing to do. Duh! because they want to be treated that way!! but guess what?? by being overly nice, you're killing her attraction and she would assume that she already 'got' you. unless she's somehow strongly attracted to one of your features, she's more likely to give you the "Oh, you're such a nice guy, but I think it's better if we're just friends." Dude, believe me! take your time to get to know her while having fun! She might not be the great girl that you've been thinking of. giving presents too early is just like flushing your money down the toilet. you may think this doesn't make sense, but hey, who says women make sense???
Reply:I think that sounds like a great idea, and if she does have room mates, they will be jealous for sure! hehe
Reply:I think that is a very sweet idea. it defiantely shows you care for her that she had a good time. it will look good in her eyes, about what kind of a guy you are. i'm sure she'll go out with you again.
Reply:That is a very nice gesture, but, maybe just a single flower and the note first. Women tend to looooove romance mixed with mystery. Wait a couple of days after the date and the flower, then call her. If she's feeling you, make another date for a couple of days later. That'll make her anxious to see you again. On that date, surprise her with another little gift. It could be the chocolates, or the balloon.
With the flower, steer away from a rose right now. Go for something romantic and exotic. Again, women love romance and mystery combined.
Reply:If the date goes great, it would be nice. If it doesn't, it could be creepy.
Reply:I feel that that is a wonderful gesture. I also feel that if you do this make sure it is something you can keep doing occasionally and not only until you start dating. You would be sending a message that "I am putting up a front to get her hooked .Dont start what you can't finish.
Reply:I like the idea a lot. She will love the surprise.
Reply:Hey, my name is Lauren. I LOVE your idea!!! If my boyfriend did that for me, I would be SO happy. Any girl would love to have a guy do something like that for her, to make her feel special. My advice is: YES!!!
Reply:If I had just met a guy and he did that I would be a little weirded out only because we had just went on one date. It kinda shows your desperate in a little way. But its a nice gesture. I can tell your a real nice guy but wait a little longer before sending anything. Clingy is just a little scary, haha!! But it is a good idea for later on!!!
